Meta Health Break

I spent all of 1/20/25 (MLK Day, but also tragically the Inauguration Day that should never have been) avoiding the news, but I realized I should’ve also been avoiding my two social media vices: Instagram and Facebook. I’m a pretty heavy Instagram user (everybody’s just dying to know what my daily WORDLE score is, right?! 😂); it’s where I get all the latest info on what my favorite people and organizations are up to, and I’m on FB because there are friends there that aren’t on Instagram, yadda yadda. But those two platforms are owned by Meta, which is basically that weenie Zuckerberg, and I am just so disgusted I decided to go cold turkey…indefinitely. Not to mention all the ads that compel me to spend money on stuff I really don’t need. So I’ll just be over here on my blog like it’s 2002. The good old days, when America was GREAT. 🙄
