Made it into the studio today to add this little guy to the canvas 🙌 #fad2021

Art.Happens is a monthlong creativity project where participants work on something all throughout January and exhibit their work in Feb (virtually, of course, in these times).

“Word Salad/Rabbit Food”, mixed media on Masonite, 9×12. A collaboration series with fellow Long Beach artist Dave Clark that we completed over the summer. Dave came up with the words and the initial colors, which I then embellished with additional acrylic paint and watercolor rabbits on paper. #longbeachartists #kongbeachart

I saw this type of pine cone for the first time ever while out on a hike in Palos Verdes back in July. I’m happy about all the good art that came out of this weird year. Wishing you all a safe and sane holidays 🙂🎄❤️

Fun envelope art I made for the “Couriers of Hope” project put on by the @portcitycreativeguild. 90 artists were invited to participate in a show for the purpose of encouraging local students to appreciate and collect art.
